chipping away
It is Saturday morning, April 25th. I’ve been chipping away at my little network time-syncing clock app, which uses an SSD1306 display and incorporates an encoder and piezo speaker. It’s a small tinkering/learning project I started a while back, and I have been optimizing the code today. It reminds me of my old Casio digital watch from when I was kid. I’m just having a little go at low-level display programming with the intent of writing some retro-style games on these displays.
A few days ago, I said I was moving back to c/c++ but found myself back in Micropython typing away. I will force myself to transition today. But first, I must repair my wife’s automotive A/C.
