GY-NEO6MV2 GPS Experiments
I am not sure if this module is defective, or if the issue is due to testing inside a building, or if it is simply how it is supposed to work, but it takes a long time to start registering readings. I have not done any reading on the module (yet) and simply modified some sample code to get it to function yesterday.
The idea is to take the thermometer / esp-now project and augment it to work with GPS readings. At this point, it is clear that it is extremely feasible make the adjustments but the delays in readings from the GPS (or delays in establishing a lock) with this specific module may be an issue.
