ESP32 Cheap Yellow Display CYD

Quick update here.

I bought a 3.2″ ESP32 display and after encountering some challenges working with available online tutorials, I came the conclusion I should start with the 2.8″ version to get my feet wet. This is the ESP32-2432S028. so I purchased one over the weekend, received it and attempted to get it working last night. Unfortunately, an Arduino IDE update was available last night as well – I installed it, after which, i was no longer able to compile code. So, after troubleshooting that issue and resolving it, I got worked through enough of the randomnerds tutorial on the CYD and made it to the demo screen. Yay! This is a cool little module i’m looking forward to messing with.

Before all of this, last night, I was able to get my GPS module to communicate with a base station and display longitude and latitude. More on this later, but here are 2 pics just to flex.
