Quick Check In – LVGL
We got back from a trip to France late last night and I have not been doing any coding for about the last 8 days but I did get 2.5 hours in this morning refamiliarizing myself with what I was working on before the break. I am fairly jet-lagged today (not a world traveler here) and the brain is not functioning at 100%, but here is where I”m at presently.
I am working with the CYD 2.8″ and LVGL – specifically using the LVGL_CYD library at this time. I completed the basic demo using sliders and a pushbutton to control the RGB LED. Now I am working with Labels to code up a clock and will expand on that for other features as a path to learning more about the various widgets available with LVGL.
I will see where this goes and may need to explore more LVGL core capabilities and/or incorporating at tool like SquareLine for UI development – we will see. As for photos, i don’t have anything exciting to share right now. Just some text and a button artifact on my present CYD.
I got a few new books over the past week and completed reading Ready Player One over my break. After reading the book, i watched the movie, which completely sucked. They changed way too much of the story to make it more commercially appealing, IMO. Business decision, i get it, but ironic since the antagonist of the story is a big corporation mogul.
