OK – Original Music
This is an original tune i wrote back in the 90s but rerecorded during the pandemic. I actually never completed the melody until this version. There were a few sections that went unadorned for a couple of decades. In recording this song, my intent was to try to capture “my guitar tone” and keep the layering to a minimum. I wanted a good but basic rock guitar tone, and it is primarily the Laney Ironheart amplifier delivering the goods. The guitar is my Steve Vai-autographed Ibanez Gem which was a gift from my dear friend, and former roommate, Russell Dye.
